I wanted to say a big thank you, to you and your team for the love and support you gave mum during her visits to the centre. By my calculation, she attended the centre for a total of 50 months, so just over 4 years. I remember mum telling me how much she enjoyed her time there. How she loved the music, dancing, and the staff. As time went on and her speech became less strong, I remember once asking her if she had seen the bath at the centre. In her own way she said it was BiiiiiiiG. She then laughed and held her arms out for a cuddle.
In recent times, as mum's health continued to deteriorate, we know the last 6 months have been especially challenging. It was a difficult time for the family and we are also aware it was the same for your staff. We are eternally grateful to everybody, for the love, care and affection shown to mum during this difficult time.
Mum has moved on. She is now on holiday, at a Nursing Home in Sutton, where she is slowly getting familiar with her new surroundings. Mum still enjoys a cuddle and she continues to show her warmth and affection with a big smile and a caress of the hand. She loves her music and still loves watching endless repeats of 'Columbo'. some things will never change.
On behalf of my mum (Minnie) thank you for everything!!!
